How to use this page:
The title of each of the figures below is linked to the page where the information originates.
Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.
In addition, in the right column is a very useful widget. It is a trip planner...yesteryear's weather at a glance. This widget lets you check historic weather for your trip dates.

Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013
Again today, skies will be partly sunny. Winds, again will be variable in direction during the day at 2 to 10 mph or less. Seas will be moderate at 1 to 3 feet.
Tonight and tomorrow, there will be scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially during the early morning, late night hours.
This morning, satellite imagery shows remnants of the cold front still extend from the Bay Islands to central Cuba. For all practical purposes this frontal boundary is stationary. It has begun to dissipate but is being reinforced by cool, high pressure air, drifting in from the north. Scattered rain showers will continue until the normal easterly trade winds resume. The easterly normal trade winds are forecast to resume on Friday. The next cold front is forecast to enter the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 25ºC to 26ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.

The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed very little in area and density in the last 24 hours. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
