On this, the first day of summer, skies will be partly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Seas will be calm to choppy at 1 to 3 feet. Winds will be light and variable in direction at 5 to 10 mph or less. Winds and seas will continue to be calm to moderate for the remainder of this week and the early part of next week.
There is a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms today. A surface trough still extends across the W Caribbean from the Yucatan to the Bahamas. This system is moving slowly northward.

The air temperatures will range from the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 26ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 81 to 82ºF or 25 to 26ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
The area of disturbed weather associated with the surface trough in the W Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico is now given a 30% chance for further development.
