Today, skies will be partly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Seas will be calm to choppy at 1 to 3 feet. Winds will be WNW to ENE at 5 to 10 mph or less. Winds and seas will continue to be calm to moderate the first part of this week.


This week's weather forecast

A monsoon trough of low pressure lingers over Central America, pulling moisture in from both the western Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean. This allows for widespread showers and thunderstorms to persist from Honduras to Panama. Significant rainfall is not anticipated in these areas.

The air temperatures will range from the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 26ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 81 to 82ºF or 25 to 26ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
Invest 96at has strengthened into a tropical storm Debby. It is in the Gulf of Mexico and moving north at 3 mph. It poses no threat to the Bay Islands and north coast of Honduras.
