Today, skies will be mostly sunny, with high level cloudiness. Winds will be northerly  at 10 to 20 mph. The seas will be 1 to 4 feet. Scattered showers are possible.
This week our weather will be dominated by cold fronts or remnants of them..
The first cold front is expected to move off the Texas coast on Tuesday and into this area by Thursday. On Friday a much stronger cold front will enter the Gulf of Mexico

A total lunar eclipse will occur early tomorrow morning, Tuesday, December 21st. It is also the winter solstice.
The partial lunar eclipse starts at 12:32 am. The  start of total lunar eclipse is at 1:40 am and ends  at  2:53 am. The partial lunar eclipse ends 4:01 am. All times are CST.





The air temperatures will be in the low 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).

At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 80F or 25C .
