The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:1. The next weak cold front will move off the Texas and Louisiana coasts Mon night...extending from the FL Panhandle to the upper Texas coast by Tue night. A stronger reinforcing cold front will enter the Gulf of Mexico early on Wed followed by strong to gale force northerly winds and building seas.
2. Strong high pressure building across the W Atlantic will result in fresh to strong NE winds funneling through the Windward Passage and SW of Cuba into the NW Caribbean through Sun. Strong winds in the south-central Caribbean will increase to gale force near the coast of Colombia through Sat night. Then...winds will reach near gale force each night; Sun night through Tue night.
