Today, skies will be mostly cloudy. There is a chance of scattered, intermittent, heavy rain associated with the cold front which has moved in from the northwest. This morning, the cold front, reaches from the Bay Islands, north to the Yucatan Straits, then to E. Cuba. It continues to weaken and will dissipate later today and tomorrow. It is nearly stationary. There is a chance of strong north winds ahead of and behind this front.
Winds will be W to WNW in direction at 10 mph or less during the day; increasing to 12 mph from the E this afternoon and evening. Seas will be calm at 1 to 3 feet. Winds and seas maybe significantly higher on the northside and out of the lee of the islands.

The air temperatures will range from the low to mid 70s (ºF) to the low to mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
 The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 17 and 18 below.
