Skies will be partly cloudy with a very slight chance of scattered rain showers through today. Winds will be moderate to strong and northerly in direction at 5 mph to 15 mph or less. Seas will be calm to rough at 1 ft. to 4 ft or higher. The air temperatures will range from the low 70sºF to the mid 80s ºF or 22°C to 24ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - High pressure will meander in the northern Gulf through Thu. SE winds will strengthen in the western Gulf Thu night.
3. Caribbean Sea - Strong nocturnal trades are expected along the NW coast of Colombia Tue night. High pressure building N of the area late in the week will induce strong NE winds N of 18N... including approaches to the Windward Passage...Fri through Sat.
3a. Upper level SW wind flow is to the east of the line that runs from Hispaniola to NE coastal Nicaragua. Upper level W wind flow covers the Caribbean Sea to the west of the same Hispaniola-to-NE Nicaragua line. A surface trough is along 65W/66W from 17N southward. Convective precipitation: rain showers are possible from 13N to 19N between 60w and 68W. Rain showers are possible from 17N southward between 78W and 88W, including in parts of Central America from Honduras southward, in areas of scattered to broken low level clouds.
