Skies will be increasingly cloudy with rain through at least Friday as two cold fronts pass over us. Winds will be moderate and northerly in direction at 5 mph to 10 mph or higher. Seas will be calm to rough at 1 ft. to 4 ft or higher. The air temperatures will range from the low
70sºF to the mid 80s ºF or 22°C to 24ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A cold front passed to the SE of the Gulf earlier this evening. Strong high pressure will then build SE and settle over the N Gulf Fri through Sun night. A thermal trough will produce strong winds over the E Bay of Campeche during the overnight hours Wed night through Sun night.
3. Caribbean Sea - A cold front currently extending from central Cuba to the Gulf of Honduras will stall from near NW Haiti to eastern Honduras Wed night...then weaken and dissipate by Fri night. Strong NE winds will occur S of Cuba and in the Windward Passage Thu night through Sun night. Large NE to E swell in northern and central tropical N Atlantic waters will subside Sat night.
3a. A cold front extends from central Cuba near 22N79W to the Gulf of Honduras near 16N88W. Cloudiness and scattered showers are within 90 NM of the front. Gentle northerly winds prevail north of the front while moderate to fresh trades prevail across the remainder of the basin. The strongest winds persist over the waters north of Colombia mainly south of 14N between 68W-74W. A reinforcing cold front will enter the west Caribbean in 24 hours and merge with the front previously described. This new front will then extend from east Cuba to Honduras with showers.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A cold front passed to the SE of the Gulf earlier this evening. Strong high pressure will then build SE and settle over the N Gulf Fri through Sun night. A thermal trough will produce strong winds over the E Bay of Campeche during the overnight hours Wed night through Sun night.
