Skies will be partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain showers through Monday. A cold front remains stationary over us. Winds will be moderate to strong and northerly in direction at 15 mph to 25 mph or higher. Seas will be calm to rough at 1 ft. to 4 ft or higher. The air temperatures will range from the low 70sºF to the mid 80s ºF or 22°C to 24ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A weak cold front will brush across the E Gulf early Sun through Mon. High pressure will then prevail over the northern Gulf through Wed. Strong winds associated with a thermal trough moving west from the Yucatan will affect the E Bay of Campeche, Mexico through Thu night.
3. Caribbean Sea - A weakening stationary front from the eastern tip of Cuba to northeastern Nicaragua will dissipate by Sun night. Large NE to E swell across the tropical N Atlantic waters will subside through Mon. Fresh to strong winds along the coast of Colombia will become moderate to fresh Tue.
3a. A quasi-stationary front extends from E Cuba near 20N75W to E Honduras near 15N84W. Scattered showers are within 120 NM of the front. 20 kt NE surface winds are N of the front. 15-30 kt trade winds are over the remainder of the Caribbean Sea, with a near gale is along the coast of Colombia. Scattered moderate convection is within 60 NM of the front. Scattered showers are over the Windward Islands, Leeward Islands, Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, Jamaica, Cuba, N Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, and S Belize. More showers are over W Panama, and Costa Rica. In the upper levels, an upper level high is centered over the E Caribbean near 13N68W. Upper level moisture is over the front, while strong subsidence is elsewhere over the Caribbean. Expect little change over the next 24 hours.
