Skies will be  partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain showers through today. A cold front remains stationary East of us. Winds will be moderate to strong and northerly in direction at 5 mph to 20 mph or higher. Seas will be  calm to rough at 1 ft. to 4 ft or higher. The air temperatures will range from the low 70sºF to the mid 80s ºF or 22°C to 24ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 26ºC to 27ºC.






The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A cold front in the SE Gulf will move S of the basin Mon. High pressure will meander over the N Gulf through Wed night. Fresh to occasionally strong NE winds are expected each evening in the eastern Bay of Campeche, Mexico. Fresh to strong SE winds will develop in the NW Gulf Thu night and continue through Fri.
3. Caribbean Sea - A weakening stationary front from E Cuba to 17N82W will gradually dissipate through Mon night. Winds and seas will subside in tropical Atlantic waters through Tue.
3a. A dissipating quasi-stationary front extends from E Cuba near 20N74W to E Honduras near 15N83W. Scattered showers are within 90 NM of the front. 15-20 kt NE surface dissipating quasi- stationary front SE winds are N of the front. 10-20 kt trade winds are over the remainder of the Caribbean Sea. Scattered showers are over the Windward Islands, Leeward Islands, Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, Jamaica, E Cuba, Nicaragua, and Honduras. In the upper levels, an upper level high is centered over the E Caribbean near 11N64W. Strong subsidence is over the Caribbean. Expect the front to fully dissipate over the next 24 hours, however, lingering surface moisture in the form of scattered showers will remain between Hispaniola and Honduras.
