Our skies will be partly cloudy, with a possibility of rain showers.
Winds will be NE to E, ranging in strength from 10 to 15 mph. Waves will be
1 to 4 feet in height.
The center of the low pressure system is about 120 miles east of us.
It will remain in this area for the next several days. Until this system moves off
or develops further, expect this weather pattern to continue. It has become
slightly better organized overnight.
99L has a 40% chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours.
The NHC has a Hurricane Hunter on standby, to fly into the system this afternoon,
if necessary
The air temperatures will be in the high 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).
