Today, it will be sunny with a chance of scattered showers. Essentially, today is a replay of yesterday.
Winds will be moderate and variable ranging in strength from 10 to 15 mph. Waves will be 1 to 4 feet in height. Winds and seas may increase later today.
Hurricane Paula is over western Cuba and is headed east. It is expected to weaken and dissipate by Saturday.
The cold front mentioned in yesterday's forecast has moved off to the NE.
No other tropical storm formation is expected in the next 24 hours.
The air temperatures will be in the high 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 85F to 87F or 29C to 30C. Surface temperatures are lower and vary greatly due to the heavy rainfall which occurred recently.
