The 1008 mb low mentioned in this morning's forecast is now centered at 13N 78W. This movement to the SE is probably responsible for the mostly sunny skies we enjoyed today. (See Fig 2) Sometimes it is a good thing for the weatherman to be wrong!
From experience I should have known it was going to clear up. For years now, when we are having a "bad" weather week, I have been telling people it will clear up on Friday because it is their last full day here before departing on Saturday. No science there. It is a "SWAG" which is purely a "Scientific Wild Ass Guess".
I will be back tomorrow morning. Have a wonderful evening watching what should be a glorious sunset.
