Skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be ESE in direction at 10 mph to 15 mph during the day; becoming ENE this afternoon and evening at 15 mph to 20 mph. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet.
A new cold front will move off the Texas coast on Friday. The front will shift SE but stall from the Florida Panhandle to the SW Gulf of Mexico by late Friday through Saturday. Low pressure over the SW Gulf of Mexico will allow fresh to strong SE wind flow across the Gulf of Honduras by late Wednesday.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 79°F to 81°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 16 and 17 below.
