Today, skies will be hazy due to a large area of smoke over the Gulf of Honduras and Central America. ( See Fig. 7 below)
Visibility is forecast to be 3NM or less.

 Winds will be light and variable in direction at 10 mph or less during the day; increasing to 10 mph to 20 mph from the E this evening. Seas will be moderate to calm at 1 to 3 feet.
This morning, there is a weakening cold front from the Straits of Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula. It will stall there, before drifting N tonight and then moving E on Friday, as a cold front.
Expect strong easterly tradewinds and high seas Thursday through Saturday.
The air temperatures will range from the mid 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 16 and 17 below.
