Skies will be partly cloudy. Winds will
be N to NNE in direction at 5 mph to 10 mph during the day; becoming
NE this afternoon and evening at 8 mph to 12 mph. Seas
will be moderate to calm at 1 to 3 feet.
A strong cold front extends from far
eastern Cuba to just W of Jamaica and S to far W Panama with near
gale force N winds along eastern Nicaragua behind it. The front is
expected to stall by early Thursday...then weaken and become diffuse
Friday and Saturday. There is a slight chance of scattered rain
showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially during the early
morning, late night hours.
The next cold front will move into the
NW Gulf of Mexico on Monday.
The air temperatures will range from
the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to
82°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 16 and 17 below.
