Today, skies will be partly sunny.
Winds will be ENE in direction at 5 mph to 10 mph or less during the
day; increasing to 15 mph to 20 mph from the NNE this afternoon and
evening. Seas
will be moderate to calm at 1 to 4 feet.
There is a very slight chance of
scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially during
the early morning, late night hours.
The remnants of a cold front in the NW
Caribbean Sea...continue to gradually dissipate over the NW and N
central Caribbean. A weak cold front has edged into the Gulf of
Mexico. It will move farther south today and dissipate.
Expect moderate, easterly tradewinds
and seas, through midday today. Winds and seas will increase in force
beginning on Thursday. These fresh to strong winds will prevail
through this weekend. See the weekly weather forecast posted else
where in the resort. Go to www.windfinder.com or the link given in Fig. 1.
The air temperatures will range from
the low to mid 70s (ºF) to the low to mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to
26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to
82°F or 24ºC to 25ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 16 and 17 below.
