Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricane from a single web page.

Friday August 24, 2012
Skies will be mostly sunny, with mid to high level clouds. Seas will be calm to moderate at 1 to 3 feet. Winds will range in strength from a light breeze during the day to a moderate breeze this evening. They will be ESE to NE at 10 mph or less. Winds and seas will continue to decrease in strength through the weekend.

The air temperatures will range from the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 26ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 82 to 83ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
At 5 am EDT, TS Isaac was located near 16.1N 70.0W moving W at 15 mph. This position is about 1100 miles E of Roatan. Maximum sustained winds were 45 mph. Minimum central pressure was 1000 mb. The approximate Closest Point of Approach (CPA) is located near 23.7N, 80.6W or about 626.9 miles (1008.9 km) from Roatan. The estimated time of when the center of the storm will be at that location is sometime Sunday, August 26, 2012, provided Isaac follows the forecast track.
Data from the hurricane hunter aircraft indicate that Isaac remains poorly organized. Some flight data indicates that the center was well south of the previously estimated surface center location, while other data suggest that the surface center remains farther north.
It is important not to focus on the exact track due to uncertainties in the initial location and the track forecast and the fact that Isaac has a large area of tropical storm force winds associated with it. Isaac is still due E of Roatan and has not made a definitive turn to the north.
Until this turn occurs and the storm is well to the north of us, all interests in the Bay Islands and on the North Coast of Honduras should monitor this system as it tracks slightly north of west towards us and strengthens.
