Skies will be partly cloudy, with mid to high level clouds. Seas will be moderate to calm at 1 to 4 feet. Winds will range in strength from light to moderate. They will vary in direction from the ESE to SSW at 1 to 15mph. There is a slight chance of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Divers should look for signs of coral spawning, since full moon was on August 2nd.
The air temperatures will range from the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 26ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 82 to 83ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
The Tropical Weather Outlook
At 5am AST, TD7 was located at 14.0N, 56.1W or about 2000 miles east of Roatan. It is moving west or 275º at 25 mph. Maximum sustained winds are 35mph. Minimum pressure is 1009 mb.
TD7 is now forecast to dissipate in 48 hrs.
All interests in the Bay Islands should continue to monitor this system as it develops and tracks west towards us.
