Today,
skies
will be mostly sunny.
Winds
will be E to ESE during the day at 5 to 10 mph. Seas will be moderate
at 2 to 4 feet. This afternoon and evening winds will be from the
ENE at 10 to 15 mph.Tonight and tomorrow, there is a slight chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially during the early morning, late night hours.
A cold front in the NW Gulf of Mexico, remains stationary. The cold front will extend from Tampa, Florida to the western Bay of Campeche on Tuesday...then move SE on Wednesday through Friday.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has increased in area and density. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid
80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water
temperatures are 80°F
to 82°F
or 25ºC
to 26ºC.
Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
