Tonight and tomorrow, there will be scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially during the early morning, late night hours.
This morning, the cold front extends from the Bay Islands to the west end of Cuba. It is drifting slowly SE and is nearly stationary. It is forecast to begin to dissipate later today.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 25ºC to 26ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
Once again, the SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed slightly in area and in density. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
