Again today, skies will be mostly cloudy. Winds will be variable in direction during the day at 5 to 10 mph or less. Seas will be moderate at 1 to 4 feet. This afternoon and evening winds will be easterly
Tonight and tomorrow, there is a chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially during the early morning, late night hours.
This morning, a weakening, stationary cold front reaches from south Florida to the Yucatan. It will diffuse today. The next cold front is expected to enter the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday and reach the Bay of Campeche Sunday and Monday. Strong northerly winds are expected behind this front.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 80°F to 82°F or 25ºC to 26ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.

The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has increased slightly in area and density. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
