Skies will be partly cloudy. Winds will be light and variable in direction at 10 mph to 15 mph. Seas will be moderate at 1 ft to 3 ft.  Today is the first day of winter.

The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to mid 80s ºF or 25°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 78°F to 82°F or 25ºC to 27ºC.

The Tropical Weather Outlook

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: 

1. A cold front reaching the Texas coast Wed will stall over northern waters Thu then lift N of the area Fri. 

2. Strong high pressure N of the area will maintain fresh to strong winds across most of the Caribbean. Near gale to gale force winds are expected off the coast of Colombia through Fri.

3. The SAL has  increased slightly in area and in density.
