Skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be W to NW in direction at 10 mph to 15 mph. Seas will be calm to choppy at 1 ft to 3 ft.
There is a chance of scattered rain showers today through Tuesday.
The air temperatures will range from the low to high 80sºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 84°F to 87°F or 29ºC to 31ºC.
The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. A stationary front remains over the SE waters and extends from the Straits of Florida to 23N85W to the Yucatan Peninsula. A dry cold front moving off the Texas coast will sweep across the northern Gulf of Mexico today with high pressure behind reinforcing the pressure gradient along the front through this evening. This will push the stationary front towards the SE and across the Straits of Florida and the Yucatan Peninsula this evening through Tue evening and into far NW Caribbean by Wed.
2. A stalled front will meander across the Straits of Florida N of the Yucatan Channel through Tue and move back into the far NW Caribbean by Wed.
3. The SAL has again decreased in area.
