Skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be northerly in direction at 10 mph or less. Seas will be choppy at 1 ft to 4 ft or higher.
There is a chance of scattered rain showers today through Tuesday.
The air temperatures will range from the low to high 80sºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 84°F to 87°F or 29ºC to 31ºC.
The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. A stationary front extends across S Florida near 25N80W through Florida Bay to 24N85W. A surface trough extends from the Gulf of Honduras through the Yucatan Channel near 22N85W to 24N83W. The front will remain stationary through tonight then will meander through early Sun before drifting N and dissipating early Tue. A weak cold front to move off the Texas coast Sun morning and sweep across the Gulf reaching from central Florida to the SW Gulf by late Mon.
2. Very active weather will continue along and E of a surface trough extending from a weak low pres 1015 MB in the Gulf of Honduras to Yucatan Channel through late Sat...before the trough shifts W and inland across Yucatan Peninsula Sun.
3. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
4. The SAL has increased in area and density.
