Skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be mostly easterly in direction at 20 mph or less. Seas will be moderate to calm at 1 ft. to 4ft. The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 76°F to 78°F or 24ºC to 25ºC.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A cold front from the Florida Straits to 21N93W will stall and weaken near the Yucatan Channel later today. A stronger cold front entering the NW Gulf Fri morning will sweep across the Gulf through Sat night. Strong gusty winds and building seas will accompany this front...with gales possible mainly S of 24N and W of 91W Sat and Sat night. Marine conditions will gradually improve Sun night and Mon. 3. Caribbean Sea - A cold front will weaken and stall near the Yucatan Channel through tonight. Strong northerly winds and building seas will follow a much stronger front entering the NW Caribbean Sat night...reach from the Windward Passage to central Honduras late Sun...and from Dominican Republic to the SW Caribbean late Mon.
3a. Water vapor imagery continues to show strong subsidence over the entire basin especially pronounced over the southern half. No surface features are located over the Caribbean at this time. Scatterometer data depicts moderate to fresh trades across the basin with an area of locally strong winds south of 13N between 73W-77W. A frontal boundary will stall over the Florida Straits area during the next 24 hours supporting some shower activity across the far west Caribbean waters and western Cuba. Little change is expected elsewhere.
