Skies will be partly cloudy. Winds will be easterly in direction at 15 to 20 mph. Sea will be moderate at 2 ft. to 4 ft. There is a very slight chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms today. The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 76°F to 78°F or 24ºC to 25ºC.






The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters over the next several days supporting mainly moderate to fresh E to SE winds. Fresh to locally strong easterly winds are expected over the SE waters through Tue. The next cold front is forecast to clip the NW Gulf late Tuesday. 3. Caribbean Sea - Minimal gale force winds along the NW coast of Colombia will continue through this morning...with near gale force winds prevailing through Mon morning. Fresh to strong NE winds will persist across most of the Caribbean...including the Atlantic passages through Wed.
3a. Broad middle level-to-upper level anticyclonic wind flow spans the entire area. NE wind flow, in the level that is from 600 mb to 800 mb, covers the Caribbean Sea, under the middle level-to-upper level anticyclonic wind flow. Comparatively drier air in subsidence is apparent in water vapor imagery, from 16N60W 15N83W southward. 24-HOUR rainfall totals in inches for the period ending at 14/0000 UTC...according to the PAN AMERICAN TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION TABLES...MIATPTPAN/SXCA01 KNHC...are 0.56 in Curacao, 0.02 in Guadeloupe.
3b. ...Caribbean Sea Gale Warning... The current situation consists of: NE gale-force winds, and sea heights ranging from 10 feet to 13 feet, from 10.5N to 12N between 74W and 77W.
