Skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be moderate and variable in direction at 5 mph to 20 mph. Sea will be moderate to calm at 1 ft. to 4 ft. There is a very slight chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms today. The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 76°F to 78°F or 24ºC to 25ºC

The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - High pressure over northeastern Mexico and an area of low pressure near 22N91W will produce gale force winds over the SW Gulf through this morning. A stationary front from W Cuba to the low...and a cold front extending S of the low will push S of the area today with high pressure building in its wake.
3. Caribbean Sea - A frontal boundary across the Yucatan Channel will push southward into the NW Caribbean later today...stalling out from the Windward Passage to NE Nicaragua late Mon...then weakening through Tue. Fresh to strong winds in the S central Caribbean will persist through Wed...and pulse to near gale force at night near the coast of Colombia.
3a. Upper level SW wind flow is covering the Caribbean Sea to the east of the line that runs from the Peninsula de la Guajira of northern Colombia beyond Puerto Rico. Middle level-to-upper level trough extends from Nicaragua to 14N74W, beyond 19N67W, just to the north of Puerto Rico. Comparatively drier air, in subsidence, is apparent in water vapor imagery, across the entire area. No significant 24-HOUR rainfall amounts have been reported, for the period ending at 29/0000 UTC...according to the PAN AMERICAN TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION TABLES...MIATPTPAN/SXCA01 KNHC... a TRACE in Guadeloupe.
