Skies will be mostly sunny. Today there is a very slight chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms. Winds will be light and variable in direction at 15 mph or less.  Seas will be moderate to calm at 1 ft. to 4ft. The air temperatures will range from the high 70sºF to the mid to high 80s ºF or 26°C to 27ºC. Ocean water temperatures are 78°F to 80°F or 25ºC to 26ºC.






The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. There are no tropical cyclones in the Atlantic at this time. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th.
2. Gulf of Mexico - A trough will develop each evening over the Yucatan Peninsula and move W-NW across the SW Gulf each night before dissipating late each morning. Elsewhere...high pressure will prevail over the forecast waters through Wed.
3. Caribbean Sea - Atlantic high pressure will build across the waters N of the area. This will bring an increase in winds and seas across much of the area through Tue then diminishing some on Wed.
3a. Upper level SW wind flow is to the south of 20N64W 18N70W 16N84W. Upper level easterly wind flow covers the rest of the Caribbean Sea. Broad low level and upper level cyclonic wind flow covers the area from the coast of Honduras to the Yucatan Peninsula. Convective precipitation: isolated moderate from 16N to 20N between 85W and 90W. This area covers the coastal waters from Honduras to Belize and Mexico, including in the Gulf of Honduras. Convective precipitation: Scattered moderate to isolated strong from 12N to 17N between 79W and 84W, in the coastal waters and inland areas of Nicaragua and Honduras, in an area of middle level-to-upper level diffluent wind flow. Isolated moderate elsewhere from 80W eastward, in areas of scattered-to-broken low level clouds. 24-HOUR rainfall totals in inches for the period ending at 24/0000 UTC...according to the PAN AMERICAN TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION TABLES...MIATPTPAN/SXCA01 KNHC...are 0.18 in Guadeloupe, and 0.15 in Curacao.
