Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.

Today, skies will be partly cloudy with
a chance of intermittent scattered showers. Seas will be calm at 1 to
3 feet. Winds will be light and ESE in direction at 5 mph or less
this morning. They will be ENE this afternoon and evening, increasing
to 15 mph to 20 mph in strength.
The shear line from the Windward
Passage to NE Nicaragua is nearly stationary and forecast to
dissipate by tonight. (See Figs. 3, 4, & 5)
A cold front moving into the NW Gulf of
Mexico this morning will stall from northern Florida to S Texas
Wednesday. A second cold front will reach the NW Gulf of Mexico
Thursday night...extend from SE Louisiana to S Texas Friday
night...and from Florida Big Bend to near Tampico, Mexico Saturday
night. (See Fig. 6)
The air temperatures will range from
the mid 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC. With wind
chill, it will feel like the mid 60s, especially when exiting the
water.
Ocean water temperatures are 78 to 79ºF
or 25 to 26ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
