Again today, skies will be mostly
sunny. Seas will be rough at 2 to 4 feet or higher. Winds will be ESE
in direction at 15 mph to 20 mph this morning. Expect E winds 15 mph
to 30 mph this afternoon and evening. Divers should exercise
caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon
dives.
This morning, a cold front is
stationary from the Florida Panhandle to Brownsville, Texas. It will
be followed by another weak cold front early tomorrow. This front
will extend from the Florida Big Bend to the SW Gulf of Mexico on
Wednesday, then become stationary over the SE Gulf of Mexico on
Thursday and Friday. The next cold front will move across the Gulf of
Mexico Saturday followed by a significant increase in winds and seas.
Winds and seas will begin to moderate
by Wednesday afternoon.
The air temperatures will range from
the mid 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 78 to 79ºF
or 25 to 26ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
