Again today, skies will be mostly sunny. Seas will be moderate at 1 to 4 feet. Winds will be light and E to ENE in direction at 5 mph to 15 mph. Expect moderate winds and seas through Friday afternoon.
This morning, a weak, relatively stationary cold front extends across the Straits of Florida to the NE Yucatan Peninsula. It is reinforced by a second, stronger cold front early on Friday. Currently, it is forecast to enter the NW Caribbean late on Friday. The merged fronts will reach from eastern Cuba to the Gulf of Honduras on Saturday. There are strong to near gale force winds, N to NW of the front. Expect increasing cloudiness and rain with the passage of these fronts. Expect strong north winds Friday night through Sunday. (See Fig. 2)
The air temperatures will range from the mid 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 78 to 79ºF or 25 to 26ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.

A weak cold front will stall across Yucatan Channel tonight. It will be reinforced by a second, stronger cold front on Thursday and enter the NW Caribbean Friday. The merged fronts reach from Windward Passage to Gulf of Honduras Saturday. There are strong to near gale force winds, N to NW of the front

Again today, skies will be mostly sunny. Seas will be rough at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will be ESE in direction at 10 mph to 15 mph this morning. They will be ENE this afternoon and evening, increasing to 20 mph to 25 mph in strength. The winds and seas will decrease starting tomorrow. Expect moderate winds and seas Tuesday through Friday afternoon.
Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives.
Remnants of a stationary front extend from Florida to Texas. A cold front will move off Texas coast early today with gale force winds W of 94W and reach from central Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula early Tuesday and than move SE of the area Tuesday night. A third cold front moves into the Gulf of Mexico Wednesday. (See Fig. 2)
Expect strong north winds Friday night through Sunday. (See Fig. 9)
The air temperatures will range from the mid 70s (ºF) to the low 80s (ºF) or 21ºC to 26ºC.
