Again today, skies will be partly sunny, with mid to high level clouds. Seas will be calm at 1 to 3 feet. Winds will be light and mostly easterly at 5 to 10 mph. Winds and seas will remain moderate through Wednesday.
There is still a chance of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, especially in the early morning, late evening hours.
A cold front from New Orleans, Louisiana SW to inland Mexico just S of Tampico will reach from near Mobile, Alabama to Veracruz, Mexico Monday morning...then from the Florida Panhandle to the NE Yucatan Peninsula early by Monday night...and become stationary from near Tampa bay to Yucatan Peninsula Tuesday and gradually dissipate Wednesday and Thursday.
The air temperatures will range from the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 26ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 83 to 84ºF or 26 to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.












The Tropical Weather Outlook
Hurricane Nadine has weakened slightly. It is moving S in the Eastern Atlantic. It is no threat to land areas.
A broad area of low pressure located about 500 miles southwest of the Cape Verde Islands has a medium chance...30 percent...of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours as it moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.
