Today, skies will be mostly sunny. Winds will be diurnal and SE to NE at 5 to 10 mph. The seas will be 1 to 4 feet. Wind and seas continue to be light. Scattered isolated, showers are possible later today.

A weak cold front has moved into the Gulf of Mexico. This system will slowly continue south.

On Friday, it will be reinforced by another cold front. It is forecast to reach here by Saturday and begin to dissipate on Sunday. Still another cold front will push into the waters off the Texas coast on Sunday.
Our weather continues to be dominated by these frontal systems.
