This morning, a cold front lies from Eastern Apalachee Bay, Florida, in the Florida Panhandle to the N Central Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. It will move into the NW Caribbean Sea today.

This front will become stationary from central Cuba to the Gulf of Honduras by late Wednesday. It will remain in place through Thursday and dissipate by Friday.

Today, expect skies to be mostly cloudy. There maybe strong winds and severe thunderstorms ahead of and immediately behind the frontal boundary. Rain and squalls will be intermittent. Winds will vary in direction, clocking around from ESE to S and W; before becoming north westerly. Wind strength will be 5 to 15 mph. The seas will be 1 to 4 feet. Both wind and seas maybe higher locally.
