NW Caribbean Sea

The cold front, mentioned yesterday, continues to move slowly across the NW Caribbean. Early this morning, it was on a line from Belize to Central Cuba.

Strong northerly winds persist along and behind this front. Intermittent rain squalls are possible. Tomorrow this front will stretch from the Windward Passage to the Gulf of Honduras and turn nearly stationary.

Skies will be sunny with increasing cloudiness. Winds will be northerly at 15 to 20 mph. The seas will be 2 to 4 feet. Wind and seas will be occasionally higher.

These sea conditions will persist through Friday. Winds and seas will begin to diminish over the weekend.

Another cold front is expected to enter the Gulf of Mexico on Monday.
The air temperatures will be in the low 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).
