Again, today, expect skies to be mostly sunny with high level clouds. Wind will be mostly E to SE at 10 to 20 mph. The seas will be 2 to 4 feet. Wind and seas may increase this afternoon and evening.

A cold front is forecast to push into the NW Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday morning. The front will reach the western Bay of Campeche, Mexico by Wednesday. This cold front will dominate our weather for most of this week.

This cooler, high pressure air is expected to shift E tonight, allowing for a more normal E to SE air flow to resume.

A cold front will push into the NW Gulf of Mexico late Wednesday.

Mid-day Advisory

Late this morning, the cold front which was to the west of us, moved rapidly off to the east. High pressure, cooler north air, has built in behind it.
The frontal trough associated with this high pressure is causing the rain and squalls, we currently are experiencing. Wind will be mostly northerly at 10 to 20 mph. Expect this weather to prevail for the rest of today.

During the night, the cold front has retreated to the west. It now stretches from eastern Cuba to the western Gulf of Honduras. It will continue to meander SE and dissipate.

This morning, a cold front lies from Eastern Apalachee Bay, Florida, in the Florida Panhandle to the N Central Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. It will move into the NW Caribbean Sea today.

This front will become stationary from central Cuba to the Gulf of Honduras by late Wednesday. It will remain in place through Thursday and dissipate by Friday.

Today, expect skies to be mostly cloudy. There maybe strong winds and severe thunderstorms ahead of and immediately behind the frontal boundary. Rain and squalls will be intermittent. Winds will vary in direction, clocking around from ESE to S and W; before becoming north westerly. Wind strength will be 5 to 15 mph. The seas will be 1 to 4 feet. Both wind and seas maybe higher locally.

Today, skies will be mostly sunny, with high level cloudiness. Winds will be from the ESE to E at 10 to 20 mph.. The seas will be 1 to 4 feet.
This morning, a cold front lies from the Florida Panhandle to the Western Bay of Campeche, Mexico. This front will be on a line from Florida to the Yucatan by Wednesday. It will move into the NW Caribbean Sea by late Wednesday This front is now forecast to become stationary from E. Cuba to the Gulf of Honduras on Thursday and Friday..
Our weather continues to be dominated by these cold fronts.

This morning, the remnants of the cold front are stationary, from E. Cuba to the North Coast of Honduras. It continues to dissipate.

Another cold front has moved off the Texas coast. Monday night, a second cold front will push into the Gulf of Mexico. It will merge with and reinforce the first front. This combined front will be on a line from Florida to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico by Tuesday It will move into the NW Caribbean Sea by late Wednesday and reach us by no later than Thursday evening.

Today, skies will be mostly cloudy with occasional sun. Winds will be from the N at 10 to 15 mph and higher. The seas will be 1 to 4 feet. Intermittent, scattered rain showers are possible.
This morning, a cold front is on a line from the Cape Gracias Adios, Honduras to Eastern Cuba. This cold front is stationary and will dissipate by tomorrow. Another cold front will move off the Texas coast late today. Monday night, a second cold front will push off of the Texas coast. It will merge with and reinforce the first front. This combined front will be on a line from Florida to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico by Tuesday It will move into the NW Caribbean Sea by late Wednesday and reach us by no later than Thursday.
This week, our weather will be dominated by these cold fronts.

This cold front will enter the NW Caribbean Sea on Saturday. By Sunday it will be on a line from Belize to Eastern Cuba. It is expected to dissipate on Sunday.

A cold front has entered the Gulf of Mexico. Another cold front will enter the NW Gulf on late Thursday. A third cold front will move off the Texas coast on Sunday. These cold fronts will begin to influence our weather starting on Friday.
