The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. Gulf of Mexico - A slow moving cold front extending SW from the Florida Panhandle to the central Bay of Campeche, Mexico will move E across the NE Gulf today while the southern portion of the front stalls across the SE Gulf. Remnants of the front will drift W across the SE and S central Gulf on Fri into Sat. A stronger and fast moving cold front will move into the NW Gulf Sat and merge with the initial frontal remnants with the merged front moving E of the Gulf early Sun.
2. Broad low pressure will meander over the SW Caribbean waters through tonight...then move inland over Costa Rica on Fri.
3. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.
