The Tropical Weather Outlook
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. Gulf of Mexico - A slow moving cold front extends from NE Florida SW to 27N86W where it becomes stationary to 24N96W and SSE to 19N95W. The cold front will weaken as it moves across the remainder of the E Gulf while the stationary portion becomes diffuse. Remnants of the front will drift W across the SE and S central Gulf on Fri into Sat. A stronger and fast moving cold front will move into the NW Gulf Sat then will move E of the Gulf by early Mon.
2. Weakening low pressure has moved inland over Nicaragua and continues to weaken.
3. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.
