Today, skies will be partly sunny. Winds will be easterly in direction at 12 mph to 15 mph during the day; increasing to 15 mph to 20 mph this afternoon and evening. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet.

A stationary cold front in the Gulf of Mexico reaches from the lower Florida Straits to the Yucatan Channel. The front is stalled and dissipating.

Another cold front will move into the NW Gulf of Mexico late Sunday night...reaching from the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche, Mexico late Monday...and from Tampa Bay to the eastern Bay of Campeche Tuesday morning.

The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 77°F to 79°F or 23ºC to 24ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 9 and 9a below.
