Again today, skies will be sunny. Winds will be ESE in direction at 10 mph to 15 mph during the day; increasing to 20 mph to 30 mph this afternoon and evening. Seas will be rough at 2 to 4 feet or higher.
A cold front will move across the Yucatan Channel and the far Western Caribbean Monday evening...then stall and weaken from central Cuba to the eastern Gulf of Honduras on Tuesday. Remnants of the front will drift NW on Wednesday. Expect gale force winds in the wake of the front.
The air temperatures will range from the high 70s (ºF) to the mid 80s (ºF) or 24ºC to 26ºC.
Ocean water temperatures are 78°F to 79°F or 23ºC to 24ºC. Visibility is 20 to 80 ft.
The SAL (Saharan Air Layer) has changed in area and in density. See Figs. 16 and 17 below.
