Since I write and post early in the day and generally do not update the page until the next morning; by clicking on the link, it allows you, the viewer, to get the latest information.
This is not only convenient but allows you to track weather events such as cold fronts and hurricanes from a single web page.
In addition, in the right column is a very useful widget. It is a trip planner...yesteryear's weather at a glance. This widget lets you check historic weather for your trip dates.

The Tropical Weather Outlook
A low pressure area, Invest 98L, associated with a tropical wave, is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the eastern tropical Atlantic 400 hundred miles southwest of the
Cape Verde Islands. This morning, it was located at 9.4N x 26.8W. It is moving WNW at 10 mph. Maximum sustained winds are 30 mph. This system has a medium chance...40 percent...of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours. Strong upper-level winds later this week are expected to make development less likely...and this system has a medium chance...50 percent...of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 5 days.
Interests in the Bay Islands and on the north coast of Honduras should monitor 98L as it develops and tracks west.
The SAL, has again increased slightly in area and density in the last 24 hours. See Figs. 9 and 9a.
