Today, skies will be cloudy. Seas will be choppy at 2 to 4 feet. Winds will be mainly E in direction, this morning, at 12 mph to 15 mph; increasing this afternoon and evening to 20 mph to 25 mph. In the afternoon, winds will be ENE in direction. Wind strength is now forecast to remain at these levels through Friday. They will diminish slightly beginning this weekend.

Divers should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on the afternoon dives.

The air temperatures will range from the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 25ºC to 32ºC.

Ocean water temperatures are 82°F to 84ºF or 27ºC to 28ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.

There is a continuing chance of intermittent rain showers and thunderstorms through Thursday.

The Tropical Weather Outlook

A tropical wave from central Cuba to central Panama will move W across the Western Caribbean through Thursday while weakening.

Invest 98L has intensified and now is tropical depression 4. It is located about 270 NM WSW of the Cape Verde Islands. T.D. Four is expected to strengthen to a tropical storm as it moves WNW across the Atlantic...then moving NE of the Leeward Islands late Saturday through Sunday.

Currently, it does not pose a threat to us, but interests in the Bay Islands and on the north coast of Honduras should monitor this system as it moves W.

The Saharan Air Layer (SAL) has decreased significantly in intensity. The area covered by remnants of the SAL remains relatively unchanged.

Else where, tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours.
