Today,

will be mostly sunny. Seas
will be choppy to rough at 2 to 4 feet or higher.
Winds will be mostly easterly in direction, this morning, at 15 mph
to 20 mph; increasing this afternoon to 20 mph to 30 mph. Divers
should exercise caution exiting and entering the boats, especially on
the afternoon dives. There
is a very slight chance of intermittent rain showers.
The air temperatures will range from
the low 80s (ºF) to the low 90s (ºF) or 25ºC to 32ºC.
Ocean
water temperatures are 81°F
to 82ºF or 26ºC
to 27ºC. Visibility is generally 20 to 80 feet.
The Tropical Weather Outlook
Active weather continues in the Gulf of Mexico. It has been
designated Invest 94L. There is a 20% chance for further development.
Cloudiness and thunderstorms continue in association with a tropical
wave in the far eastern Atlantic about 700 miles southwest of the
Cape Verde Islands. However...additional development is not
anticipated as the wave moves westward at 15 to 20 mph. This system
has a low chance...10 percent...of becoming a tropical cyclone during
the next 48 hours.
The Saharan Air Layer (SAL) has decreased slightly in area during the
last 24 hours.
Else
where, tropical cyclone formation
is not expected during the next 48 hours.
