This morning, we are on the backside of the frontal trough which moved over us yesterday.

Again, skies will be mostly cloudy with a very slight chance of rain. Today, winds will be easterly in direction at l0 to 15 mph. Tonight, they will increase to 15 to 20 mph. The seas will be choppy and 2 to 4 feet in height.

The next cold front is predicted to move off the Texas coast late Monday and stall in the Bay of Campeche on Wednesday
Expect strong winds and high seas beginning tomorrow and continuing through next week. In Fig 1 above, note the low pressure area circled in green. It is located in south central Mexico. When it is place, strong east trade winds prevail in the Bay Islands.

At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 80F or 26C . Visibility is generally 60 to 80 feet.
