Today, skies will be mostly clear. Winds will be easterly in direction. Early today winds will decrease in strength from 25mph to 15 mph. Later this afternoon and tonight, they will increase to 25mph. The seas will be choppy and 2 to 4 feet in height. Winds and seas can occasionally be higher.
A cold front will move off the Texas coast later today. Late Tuesday night, it will stall and dissipate in the SE Gulf of Mexico, just north of the Yucatan Channel. Expect winds and seas here to begin to decrease in strength, early Tuesday. Winds and seas will strengthen again on Thursday. This weather pattern should hold through the weekend.
