Today, skies will be mostly sunny with some high level cloudiness. Winds will be strong and mostly E in direction at 20 to 25 mph. The seas remain choppy at 2 to 4 feet in height. Both winds and seas may occasionally be higher.
A weak cold front is expected to reach the NW Gulf of Mexico late Sunday. It will stall late Monday, and dissipate on Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds and seas here, may diminish some, Wednesday and Thursday, depending on the strength of this front and how far south it drifts.
Winds will remain strong and seas rough through Tuesday.
