The cold front which entered the Gulf of Mexico late last night, will move quickly across the gulf today and reach from Tampa Bay, FL to the NE Yucatan Peninsula by this evening.

Another cold front will enter the NW Caribbean Sea late today and be on a line from E. Cuba to E. Honduras by Tuesday. There it will stall and dissipate, on Wednesday and Thursday. A third cold front will move off the Texas coast late Wednesday. It will extend from the Florida Panhandle to the NE Yucatan Peninsula by Thursday night. 
 
Today, skies will be mostly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Scattered and intermittent showers are possible ahead of and along the cold front. Winds will be variable, switching from SE to NE during the day. They will decrease from a high of 15 to 20 mph in the early morning hours to less than 10 mph by midday. The seas will be 1 to 3 feet in height.

The air temperatures will be in the low 70s (F) to the low 80s or 24 to 25 (C).
At depth, ocean water temperatures are about 76F to77F or 25C or lower.
