Today, skies will be sunny with extensive mid to high level cloudiness ( See Fig 2 & 3). There is a small chance for scattered, intermittent showers. Winds will be from the NE to E at 10 mph to 15 mph ( See Fig 1). The seas will be 2 to 4 feet in height. The remnants of the cold front which caused this week's rain has mostly dissipated ( See Fig 2 & 3). Winds will strengthen over the weekend and resume a more diurnal, easterly air flow. The next cold front will enter the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday.
