Early this morning, a cold front was just to the west of the Bay Islands.

Later today, it will stall on a line from E. Cuba to E. Honduras. and begin to dissipate.

Another cold front will move off the Texas coast late Wednesday. It will extend from the Florida Panhandle to the NE Yucatan Peninsula by Thursday night. It will move into the NW Caribbean Sea by Saturday.
Today, skies will be partly sunny with mid to high level clouds. Scattered and intermittent showers are possible ahead of and along the cold front. Fig 3 - Water Vapor early am_110208 |
Winds will be variable, switching from SE to NE during the day. Winds will be 10 to 12 mph or less.. The seas will be 1 to 3 feet in height.
